Didn’t feel too well yesterday so the entire day was pretty wasted. Scratchy, fuzzy throat and just feeling Blah. At least I waited until SWMBO’s day in the office to feel bad!
Felt a lot better today. The headache I’ve been waking up with wasn’t as bad this morning. I think I’m going to try sleeping on my foam pad on the floor tonight and see how I feel in the morning. I’d sure hate to think that, after 30 years, I’m getting too damned old to sleep on my waterbed. SWMBO bought a new bed and we’re waiting for it to get here in the mail. (UPS?) Sure hope it solves the problem!
Finally got off my butt and drove out to Belfair and bought a hydraulic hose for my Digger. That $100 I made the other day: $85 for the hose. At least I’m still $15 to the good! Got back home and it took me all of 10 minutes to get it put on and working good. And it does. So I PM’d the Digger and made sure everything else I can get to is tight. All the fluids are up to par and I greased all the fittings I could find. Probably not bad for not having a manual!
Been working on the look of my blog and started a new category for Reviews. I did this because I bought one of those “Infinity Razors” from BDA Marketing and, to say the least, this is one of the worst POS razors I’ve ever used. The one I bought lasted maybe 3 shaves before it got just too damned dull to use. The “Free” Infinity Razor lasted all of 1/2 a shave before I gave up on it. I get better shaves from the cheapo disposable razors I usually buy. So, I got suckered in and spent $30 for crap! I began to suspect that when I first opened the package and saw the crappy damn-near-unusable design of the handle. WHY can’t folks leave the straight handle alone?!? I don’t need my razor to look ’cool’. I need my razor to give me a good shave. Now I’m wondering how/if I can get my money back! (Even if I got my money back it wouldn’t include the $9.95 for shipping.)
Trying to use a program called gnuCash to maybe keep track of what I make with / spend on the Digger. Damn! It just doesn’t make any sense to me. I just want to be able to put in I made this much on this job and I spent this much on fuel/repairs or whatever. Maybe I should install my old copy of Quicken…
And, this being Thursday: Smallville was Cool! (Of Course.) I especially liked Chloe laying down the law to Lana. But I’ve always thought Chloe should be with Clark. The first part of the show was a crack up. “Seismic Activity” indeed!
