Like this. Mostly warmer with a lot of sun and just plain nice out. Would have been a great day to get out on the Digger and do something! Ah well…

Mostly a pretty normal Friday.  SWMBO went to Tacoma for a job interview early. We were waiting around for a couple that was supposed to drop by and look at the MILA; but they decided not to. Butt-heads could have called and let US know!

SWMBO took me out to dinner and to walk the mall for our Friday Date. Dinner was excellent but the company was better!

We walked through (well, moseyed through) Barnes & Noble and I saw the Parrot AR Drone 2.0 for the same price as I got it at Amazon (minus shipping). Heck, I could have had it two days ago; instead of waiting for Amazon to ship it. Which they did today. Estimated arrival tomorrow. Sure!…

And that’s another thing: SWMBO bought three paperback books. I’m pretty hard pressed to buy an actual Book anymore. I’d rather have it (or them) on my Kindle or Nexus 7 and read from there. I can carry a lot more “books” that way. An exception might be a Technical/Instruction book of some sort; nice to have it to look at while doing whatever on the computer. But I hardly ever buy hard copy anymore. Heck, I’m still trying to scan all the paper/records I have into pdf or epub files…

Let’s see: I’m scanning all my papers/records/files to pdf/epub. Ripping all our CD’s to mp3’s. Ripping all our movies/tv shows to .mp4. All for access over our LAN. Yeah, I guess you could say I’m a electronical kind of guy! Hell, even my “Diary” (this blog) is electronic.

Not bad for an OLD Guy!
