I mean, it’s not like I’m the most boring person in the world. Or am I? Anyway, today went pretty much like every other Monday around here. SWMBO went and had lunch with the girls. Me and the Dog stayed here and went for a couple of walks (nice Wx for it!), got some laundry done and just generally hung out. Watered all the plants too.

Oh, I did move my security camera from my room to the “big” room, and the oscilloscope downstairs to free up some room on my countertop. Badly needed more room since I moved the printers there. Now maybe I’ll have room for my radio stuff!

And, I made a trip to Allyn to my friends house to pick up my weed whacker and Generator. Both running great (now) and it cost me only $50. Not a bad deal and I think we’re going to need the generator this winter. I just have this feeling that since I sold my Digger that we’re going to get slammed this winter. Just a feeling.

SWMBO is supposed to find out sometimes early September if she got this latest job she interviewed for. I have mixed feelings about it. If she doesn’t get that particular job we’ll be able to make the Hollie Family Reunion the first weekend of October. If she does get the job, we won’t be able to go this year. But she’ll be working.

Sometimes I feel kind of bad about her having to work. I can’t get a job: Too old, Too out of touch, Too cranky to put up with other people’s BS and too much of a past to haunt me. I do my part around the house: meaning almost all the housework and most of the cooking and pretty much anything else that needs to be done (except mowing, which I WILL do but only under extreme duress). I’m also the IT guy, TV guy and mechanic. Sometimes I even “fix” things. Ah well… At least I work cheap.

That’s about all that’s going on. Think I’ll pop some popcorn and watch “Carrie.” (The 1976 version.)
