Little More Snow Tonight.

Went outside about 2100 and it was snowing like a son of a gun! Don’t see it snow that hard around here often. Only snowed about an hour and it’s back to rain. Cold rain; but rain. Ah well. I’d be okay for a foot of it out there.

Not much going on the past couple of days. Went out to the property again a couple of days ago to check how my drainage is working out. Except for a couple of places it’s doing good. Was raining way too hard when I was out there to try to fix anymore of it though.

So I just been hanging around the house; doing housework and stuff. My Brother-In-Law came by today and took just less than an hour to clean the travel trailer out (that he’d been living in). I did a walk through when he said he was finished and it seemed okay to me.

And that’s about it. Really boring!

Wind is starting to kick up out there!

Damn I Am Tired Of Winter!

I really should live somewhere in the Tropic Of Cancer or Northern Australia. Someplace warm all year! The "Great Northwest" is a wet dreary place to live in the winter. Worse, I think, than it was in Cleveland, Ohio. At least in Cleveland you get the occasional Tornado or Thunder & Lightning. Out here all you get is RAIN. RAIN RAIN RAIN. I’m sick of the damned RAIN. And of being cold.

Not much going on. Went out to the property and moved dirt until it started raining again. Probably would have kept on except the rain turned to ice pellets. Not really rain, not really sleet. Kind of like clear lake effect snow. Would have preferred snow!

And that’s about it. Almost finished rebuilding my ’games’ disc. Installed "Lock On" last night and played that for awhile. Added a lot of planes that I’ve been downloading to FSX. I particularly like the different versions of the F4. The F4 was one badass looking jet! I’d hate to look up and see a fully loaded F4 Phantom coming my way!

Man oh man. I put an ad on Craig’s List for a Free Cat To Any Home:

Mix cat more Siamese than not. About 6 years old. House trained mostly. Not friendly but cuddly when she wants to be. Doesn’t like me but loves my wife. (Go figure.) Likes kids and visitors. I think she’d be good with BBQ sauce at 450 degrees for 45 minutes but SWMBO gets upset when I talk that way. (JUST KIDDING!) Oh, yeah. Outside/Inside cat. Will occasionally bring SWMBO dead (mostly) bird as love offering.

Well, Joebourbon@aol.com wrote on the 31st to say I was a "dick head". I guess just to be sure I got the message he wrote again on the 1st to say I was an "ass hole." Aside from not being able to make up his mind which I am; is there a part of (JUST KIDDING!) that’s hard to understand? Damn, folks. It’s called ’a sense of humor’, meant to be taken with a ’grain of salt’ or ’tongue in cheek’ and not seriously. Y’all ought to try it sometime. Could completely change your outlook on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Not much else going on today. Not going to the property cause it’ll just be too muddy to get any work done with the Digger. Guess I’ll put in those two ceiling fans I got for the living room…

Built a drive just for Flight Sim X last night. Windows works a whole lot better (faster!) when you don’t load a bunch of things into memory. FSX works faster also (even though it still loads SLOW). Only problem with it is that if I decide to fly for a couple of hours I can’t do anything else without shutting down and putting the other drive in and rebooting. Oh well. I do enjoy FSX though. Reinstalled all my expansion packs and it’s working pretty good!

It’s Been A Couple Of Days…

And I ain’t posted cause NOTHING has been happening. Well, except for my B-I-L finally getting his own apartment and moving his stuff out. Don’t get me wrong; I like my B-I-L, I just think him living here 6 months is a bit too long. Probably 5.5 months too long.
Been playing with Magix Music Maker 12 and it is COOL! I spent hours last night ’making’ music. I absolutely love that program! Been playing with Poser 7 also; lot’s of stuff to learn there! Really hard for someone with absolutely NO artistic talent.
Weather has been strange all around us. LOTS of mountain snow. Some lowland stuff. We’ve had rain and rain and a mixture of rain and rain with the occasional mixture of rain and snow. When it wasn’t raining that is. But at least the sun came out for a few seconds today and shone through the rain. (Shone? Shined?)
Put my dump truck up for sale on Craig’s List. Let’s see how long it takes to get a few dipshit remarks… Truck is as old as I am!
Put a ad to give the cat away too. I am damned tired of that cat being too lazy to go outside to crap but instead slinks all the way to the front room and craps behind my desk. Not all the time. Not everyday. Hell, not even every time it rains. But about every 3-4 days or so. But I’m tired of it.
SMALLVILLE was pretty good tonight. (And finally not a rerun thank you very much!) I knew Grant was going to get it as soon as he walked out of his office. I only hope they keep his character alive; to give Lex another worry if nothing else. Is that a chink in the relationship between Clark and Lana? Cool! I know ’Superman’ is supposed to wind up with Lois, but I still hope Clark and Chloe get together. She has such a wide-on for him!
