Except for a quick trip to Ace Hardware for a wall clock for SWMBO, checking mail on the way back of course, it has been one damned SSDD Monday around here. Cloudy. Sunny. Cloudy. Sunny. Cloudy. You pick and wait 10 minutes.

Spent the afternoon puttering around. Went out an looked at how I want to reposition the wire holding my new antenna up. Need the tennis ball gun. Get that and I can put the new antenna up about 90 feet. That should work out well. Should be able to get a lot more signals in, and out, then. Cool!

Made myself some tuna sandwiches and bakes for dinner. Then I mixed together a serving (or two) of chili completely from the “Thrive” stuff we have in the cupboards. Tastes pretty good! A bit more spicy than I’m used to, but not bad at all. That’s going to be my dinner tomorrow night!

And that’s pretty much it. SWMBO is home and I’m seeing if her phone will charge for me. She wasn’t able to get it to charge all day so she’s been without and going through phone withdrawal. Since her phone is as old as mind, and a different model, it’ll probably be danged near impossible to get a new batter for it. But I’m about to check online an see.

Oh, guess what movie I watched today.

To Shelton for the MCARC monthly meeting. Which went well. All the guys were impressed with my new truck and I got plenty of ideas about mounting my radio and antenna’s. Thanks guys!

Met SWMBO and our friend Mary at the all you can eat Chinese food place in Port Orchard for late lunch/early dinner. Was good as usual. Ate way too much as usual. Made our regular Safeway stop on the way home.

Will probably just chill for the rest of the evening. Think I’ll watch Poltergeist.

Fairly normal Friday so far. Didn’t have to drive SWMBO to the Ferry Landing this morning (her son did) so I’m back to my usual (boring) routine.

About to get off my ass and get my day started. Sun is coming out and I may even get to take the Dog for a walk around the back 40. Should be Netflix day too.

Yep. Pretty much a normal day for me. We did get that walk in. Checked mail. The usual chores. Got lots of paperwork done and the insurance on the truck for financing taken care of. Tried to make my appointment for the sleep study but the sleep study place hasn’t gotten the paperwork yet. Said they’d call me when they get it.

Moved my 6btv antenna and made it a bit more wind-proof. Backed the truck up to the tent trailer (man, that back up camera is nice!) and plugged them together. All lights work just fine. I should take the trailer for a tow around to see how the truck does. Not during inclement weather though.

Not much else going on. I get to pick SWMBO up @ 1845 so I’ll be leaving pretty quick now. Tried to make myself some Sam Andy’s Chicken Fricassee for dinner. Shit looked so gross I nuked a couple of burritos instead. The rest will probably be thrown out in the back yard. (And I pity any poor animal that tries to eat it!)

We be back safe and sound. Nice to make the drive and it not be raining!
