Yesterday was my pretty much usual Thursday, until around 1630. I had to pick SWMBO up at the Ferry Landing and zoom her (via Mickey D’s) to her class on Mullinex. Dropped her off and went to walk around Freddy’s to look through their electronics dept. Not impressed. Then off to Walmart where I spent $50 on Blu Ray’s.

By the time we got home I was bushed so I just went to bed and read about an hour before going to sleep.

Today has been my pretty much usual Friday. Went to the Naval Hospital in Bremerton to get my meds. Except that I got the one I’m not supposed to take (been replaced) and didn’t get the one that settles out my irregular heartbeat. Joy. So I gotta get all that straightened out.

Spent the rest of the day scanning documents to .pdf and messing around the house. Getting too cold to be outside for long. Supposed to snow next week. Sure.

I’ll believe it when I see snow falling from the sky and sticking to the ground. Doesn’t happen often around here. Is getting cool (cold) out. Saw the wind kick up a couple of times today.

Cleaned out the allowed devices on my router then re-added my phone & tablet. Will have to do SWMBO’s phone & tablets too. (Probably before bedtime tonight!) There were about 12 “unknown” devices listed that I had no idea what/who they were. But I have MAC authorization running so I must have added them sometime. Guess I ought to check out how things are set up more often than every 3 years or so. Changed all the passwords too just in case.

But the network is running great now.

Well, picked SWMBO up at the QFC, got home and started getting her fed, and we sat and watched the latest X-Men movie. It’s late! I’m going to bed.

Of course, I also want to be at least 20 years younger and 120 lbs lighter so I could get out and do this. OMG, that looks like fun. Hope it has something in the software and gyroscope that doesn’t let one lean over too much. Man, I wish I could do that!

Not a whole lot going on. Again. Did get off my fat, lazy, old ass and make a dump run. Was time to get rid of the 32 gal can of glass and two large plastic bags of plastics. Put it off as long as I could. And the dump station was busy with a lot of folks that were doing the same thing! Go figure.

Trying to get some scanning done. Picked (and ate) the last of the peas I tried growing this summer. Carrots are still itty-bitty and not worth plucking. Same with my green onions. Think I started the garden too late this year. But, in my defense, I was rebuilding the raised beds most of the summer.

SWMBO texted me and asked me to make her “tuna casarol.” Her’s has macaroni 9cooked), tuna, and mushroom soup all mixed together. I have some standards, but, I love her. Hmmm… Guess I’ll do it.

NWS say’s there’s a chance for some snow this coming Sunday. Yeah, sure. Only if it can get through the rain.

The MCARC 2-meter Wednesday Evening Chat Net went well. Good.

Not a whole lot going on today. The Usual Chores. Got out only to check mail. Went off on a rant on Facebook about a post. You know; the usual.

I absolutely HATE those “I bet I won’t get even 1 post/like” type of posts. Expecially those that say “You’re not human if you just scroll past” posts. I think after 20+ years in the emergency/medical field my compassion knows no bounds. But, I also know shit happens. These posts are designed to instill feelings of guilt and clog up our feeds. I never report, like, amen, or forward them. Never.

And those “Black Pride = Ok. Asain Pride = Ok. Etc, etc. White Pride = Racist. Hey, numbnuts, thanks for lumping all us White folks together. How come other races can have pride in their color/history but if a white person does it’s racist? Pisses me off.

So I made a couple of relatives kind of mad at me on Facebook with a small rant over a couple of those posts. Even unfollowed one of them cause I’m just tired of the bullshit posts telling me I’m racist or inhuman. I don’t need their shit in my life.

Other than that just not a whole lot going on around here still. Been scanning those Profile Publications (last one this evening!) and my usual. Have a Big Bang Theory Season 9 marathon going in the background on one monitor and the Alien movies going on the other (but silently).

And that’s it. Boring, I know. That’s my life though.

But it always does (for me) just because I’m home with the love of my life. She and her Son cooked the dinner; which we all (SWMBO, her Son & his Girlfriend, a friend of SWMBO’s that joined us, and I) sat down and started eathing about 1330 or so. Good food! Good company! Good times!

Friday I got to take SWMBO to the ferry landing (at zero dark thirty) and picked her up at the QFC that evening. Friday was a fairly “normal” day around here for me. Maybe a bit lazier than usual; still in a food coma I guess.

Saturday I took SWMBO to the restaurant of her choice for her birthday dinner (the teriyaki chicken place in Gig Harbor) and to COSTCO. Spent way too much money there but got some neat “stuff.” They were still having their Black Friday sale and some of their TV’s were fairly cheap. None were what I want though. The one I really liked was still $1500+ so we didn’t get it. Next year. Yep, next year.

Today has been our usual Sunday with SWMBO heading off to church and me getting my usual chores done.

And it is STILL raining. It has rained (sometimes hard) almost every day since we got back from the Reunion run.

Oh, I’ve mostly fixed my desktop computer. You would NOT believe the hassle I had with that 5-TB drive. Linux just did not want to use it. Wound up partitioning it into two 2.5 (approx) partitions. Put my data on the 2-TB drive and use the other partitions for DVDRips and Working. Then installed Linux Mint KDE 17.2 over the Linux Mint KDE 18 and most everything has come back up and working with little effort. Didn’t have to reinstall and setup my mail but have had to reinstall some of the other programs. Moneymanagerex was a special pain in the ass to set up; but I did it. (Don’t exactly know how, but I did.)

Oops. Got busy watching “The Martian” with SWMBO, late when we got to bed, and I forgot to post this.
