I Think I’ll Sue My Denturist.

Because, in this day of “Let’s Sue Everybody For Everything” Gone Wild, IF he hadn’t fitted me for, manufactured, and installed my dentures, I wouldn’t be as fat as I am today. After all, you can eat only so much with 3 or 4 good teeth left in your mouth. Without them (the dentures) SWMBO would have had to “pre-chew” my food for me and we’d have been that much closer doing things together; so I guess I could also sue him for alienation of affection. I fully expect to win given the dipshidiot Judges we have. I’ll keep you posted.

Really nice day out so I really did try to spend as much time as I could outside. Me and the Dog took off all our clothes, no, wait, I never did get any on so forget that. Anywho, the Dog and I toured the back 40 a few times or otherwise spent time out.

Moved the Tent Trailer to a slightly different spot for winter storage. Set it all up to make sure all the pipes are drained and opened up the water tank. Tomorrow (probably) I’ll put most everything back into it, spray it liberally with bug spray, and close it back up for the Winter. Cause it’s getting to be about that time of the year.

We bought a couple of packages of BBQ Ribs at Safeway the other day ($5/ea) and had those for supper this evening (after charcoaling them on the BBQ, of course). SWMBO made some kind of rice with mater stuff in it and I added peas. Was good.

Watched the latest Doctor Who. Still not sure if I like him or not.

ARES Check-in this month then the MCARC 2-meter Sunday Evening Chat Net. I really am getting burned out on being Net Control every week. Maybe it’s time to rotate it for awhile?… Turned out I could be heard, but could not hear. WAY too much interference. I could barely understand what was being said. So I bowed out for tonight. AE7GC ran it and did a pretty good job.

Sunny And HOT Friday! NEAT!

Tomorrow Night!

It’s too early right now to even think. 0530 and counting. Wx Lady (MJ) says it’ll be 83 or so in Seattle today. Which means almost 90 here. Nice. Won’t be able to stay “unclothed” the entire day cause I need to make a run to Allyn. Thinking about making a Safeway run for chili makin’s too. But, other than those errands, I’m determined to enjoy the final days of summer.

And the rest of my day went as they usually do. Except SWMBO texted me to pick her up because her son was stuck in traffic in Tacoma. So I did. She had me take her to Jo Ann’s in Port Orchard so I spent some hard earned bucks at the Dollar Store.

And that’s really about it. Didn’t do anything unusual (except put clothes on to go check mail).

Wasn’t Going To Post Today

But it’s still early enough to do so. But I really wasn’t going to post because I’m still slightly pissed from this morning. Damn, I Hate Driving To Seattle. Especially In “Rush Hour.” Which it ain’t.

SWMBO did her usual farting around this morning and missed the Ferry. So she calls me (I was on the way home) to come get her and take her to Seattle. She is quite lucky I love her more than I hate driving in Seattle and it was her first day on the new (full-time) job! So she got dropped off 20 minutes later than she was supposed to be there and I finally got back home about 1000 with a gas tank on fumes. I had to pee!!!

So, recuperated awhile before pouring the remaining gas from the gas can into my tank (about a gallon) and went to town and filled up. Dropped the Renter’s check off at the Bank. Stopped by Safeway for milk (2 donuts & a bag of bagels).

Finally got to take a shower about 1500. Thank Goodness! Danged cold and partially wet today outside. I actually turned the heater on for a bit this afternoon. Damn!

Picked SWMBO up this evening. Stopped at Safeway for some stuff she needed. Got home and tuned in to the MCARC 10-meter Chat Net but no one was there. N7YGE answered me when I called out to see if anyone was listening and we talked awhile. Didn’t hear anyone else though.

And that is about it for tonight. Think I’ll watch the last episode of CNN’s The Sixties and go to bed.

Another Pretty Normal Sunday

Meaning not much going on. Well, had to call the Cops at 0210 this morning on the neighbor kids riding their quads up and down the road, giggling like girls, shooting their hand guns, and generally being asswipes. Woke our Renters up also. And our other neighbor. Renter said the Cops showed up and stayed for about 2 minutes; did a check on one of the vehicles and left. Didn’t check the half dozen other kids in the house nor check to see if they were drinking. Which they probably were.

And you can be damned sure that no one told the parents the Cops came in the middle of the night. They are the worst “parents” I’ve ever seen. Really. Absolutely no control over their kids. I swear I’m going to stay alive long enough to see their youngest kid “ride the lightning” for killing them all in their sleep some night. It’s gonna happen.

Other than that really not much happening around here. Finally got cool enough this afternoon for me to get some clothes on. Ugh. Made Chicken breasts cooked in spaghetti sauce, spaghetti, and peas for dinner. SWMBO seemed to like it.

Boiling water now to de-skin some of the tomato’s I’ve had sitting in the fridge too long. Gonna render them down to tomato paste. This’ll be a first for me.

I Been Slimed!

Watching CNN-The Sixties 05 of 10-The Long March. All I’m feeling is shame, and incredulousness, that we needed to make special laws to force an integration that should have been totally natural. But I never lived anyplace where things were violent; except near Watts during the riots. We grew up poor in Los Angeles, CA and Greenville, Miss and played with the “colored boys” more than anyone else. I guess I just never cared what color you were. Still don’t.  You’re either a decent person, or you’re a dickhead. And I don’t like dickheads whatever color they are. (Even though I’ve been accused of being a dickhead a couple of times.)

MCARC 2-meter Sunday Chat Net went really well. Had 8 check-ins and it lasted almost 40 minutes tonight. Almost 15 minutes longer than usual. Cool!
